The Embassy of the United States of America Budapest requests the pleasure of your company at a public lecture/discussion with Jonas Stewart, Public Affairs Officer of the U.S. Embassy to be held from 14:00 to 15:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in Room X. The lecture will be hosted by the American Studies Department of the University of Szeged.

Jonas Stewart is the Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Budapest.  His previous assignments include Washington DC, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and several tours in Japan.  Mr. Stewart graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas and received a master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies with highest distinction from the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.  He speaks Japanese, Russian, Hungarian, and Azerbaijani.
