To make a successful completion of your training in American Studies, you need to do a fair amount of reading and writing outside the classroom. The University of Szeged provides excellent, state-of-the-art facilities for that: The “József Attila Study and Information Center” is a place for students wishing to use a library, surf the Internet, send an e-mail or just have a chat with a friend. With its 300 work stations, various amenities for student as well as a library of over 2 million of books, the Center is within a two-minute walk from the American Studies Department. There is also a good chance that at the end of your studies your diploma awarding ceremony will take place here, at “JATIK”.
