KELLNER SCHOLARSHIPS to BARD COLLEGE AND TRINITY COLLEGE, U.S.A.
ACADEMIC YEAR 2008-2009 – SPONSORED BY THE KELLNER FOUNDATION

*SCHOLARSHIP

  • Full tuition, travel expenses, room and board, books and a stipend for the academic year beginning in August 2008
  • Three scholarships are open to students from the SZTE Arts Faculty and from the ELTE Arts, Social Sciences, Psychology, and Teacher Training Faculties
  • Students will attend Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, or Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut
  • Fields of study in the USA: the liberal arts curriculum, including History, English, Political Science, Women’s Studies, History of Art and Architecture, American Studies, Literature, Sociology, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, and Mathematics

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 4.2 cumulative average of all completed courses, official copies of transcripts in English to be submitted (one certified copy only)
  • Minimum two semesters completed at ELTE or SZTE
  • Students must still be enrolled at ELTE or SZTE at time of departure to the USA
  • Minimum TOEFL test score of 600 (or equivalent). ITP TOEFL can be arranged by the Foundation at low cost for semi-finalists
  • 2 recommendations from teachers at student’s department
  • Completed application form, including two essays. Application forms can be downloaded from www.kellner.hu
